Biwa Pearls

Biwa pearls are long, flat and stick-shaped, closer to a sliver of nacre than a bead, with a soft directional shine.

They're used here where that shape can be seen: horizontal statement earrings, drops on gold filled hoops and ear wires, and a seven-station necklace that lets each pearl sit on its own. Natural Japanese Biwa in a pale pink hue appears on a 36" box chain.
